As myth would tell you the Phoenix is the timeless symbol of transformation, reincarnation, and starting anew. Referenced in many works of art such as literature, portraits, music, and film, C.E.O., and Designer of the Fashion House “House of Skye” Skye Drynan now brings alive the idea of the Phoenix and other mythological creatures to fashion.  Just this month, Skye Drynan closed the chapter to 2020 by opening a new one and sharing it with the world with the debut of Dulce Bestia’s newest collection “Rule Breakers.” Partnering with the global powerhouse Amazon, “House of Skye” became exclusively available in the Amazon Fashion store at www.amazon.com/houseofskye for her latest debut. There, consumers are able to take a look at Dulce Bestia, the new collection, find modern fashion trends for women, men, face masks and take a personal look into who Skye Drynan is: the modern Phoenix incarnate.

As many would agree, we are all looking forward to new beginnings and 2021 is expected to be a record-breaking year when it comes to new resolutions and personal transformations. Social media apps like TikTok are currently filled with comedic videos of people displaying fashions showing outfits they didn’t get to wear due to COVID lockdowns. Whether it be something for the body and/or mind, people will be finding new ways of reinventing themselves, and “House of Skye” will at least be the fashion-forward Phoenix for many.

Every brand and fashion line within “House of Skye” has the visual representation of mythical creatures. Skye Drynan enjoys overseeing every detail in whatever project she connects with and has chosen a mythological visual representation to define each “House of Skye” line.  From her twist on the classic Griffin to the centaur, fire beast, and dragon, each mythical creature iconically defines each line, adding a sense of creativity and imaginative originality to each brand. Currently, “House of Skye” has four different product lines: SNOW BEAST, a winter / outdoor line, DULCE BESTIA, her flashy signature couture line, DB STREET COUTURE, a ready-to-wear line, and BAREBACK, a line of intimates for both men and women.

DULCE BESTIA, “House of Skye’s” first launched line is represented by the Phoenix. A creature that defies logic is perfect for Skye’s target: the bold alpha 007 / femme fatale type that isn’t afraid of standing out. As of now, “House of Skye’s” bold fashion has been a go-to stable for visionaries worldwide and celebrities that one would say are mythological themselves including Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton, Ally Brooke, Poppy, Tyler Posey, Carrie Underwood, Esther Anaya, MAEJOR, Sophia Lillis, Paris Berelc, Will Catlett, Jared Harris, Danna Paola, Frida Aasen, Gavin Leatherwood, Ronen Rubinstein, Brenda Song, Booboo Stewart, Draya Michele, Cameron Reid Hamilton, Lauren Daigle, Laura Marano, Maria Gabriela De Faria and Lexy Panterra to name a few.

SNOW BEAST, “House of Skye’s” innovative winter wear that perfectly marries science, function, and technology is presented by Skye’s own depiction of the Griffin, but with the facial features of a lion. Used to symbolize courage and leadership, the Griffin is a combination of intelligence and strength a perfect combination that describes Snow Beast’s marriage of mountain royalty meets high-tech, high-function, and high-fashion.

DB STREET COUTURE is a specific visual representation of Skye’s personal versatility in style, fashion and ancestry. As some will know, Skye Drynan has Japanese ancestry (middle name Yayoi) and its fitting that a dragon represents the fashion line and the year she was born. A complimentary counterpart to Dulce Bestia, DB Street Couture is a line that will be seen worn on international influencers and those that fashion and style comes naturally to.

BAREBACK, Skye’s line of intimates for both men and women is symbolized by the Centaur. A play on the image of the Greek creature, the image of the centaur represents Bareback in a cheeky way. It visually expresses the need for both body and torso to be in sync, something that Bareback will bring to its consumers. BAREBACK was in fact, the line that launched Skye into fashion as she initially created a  backless transformer bra that led to global patent protection in over 88 countries.

The fashion house “House of Skye” itself is embodied by a Coat of Arms that can currently be found on the Amazon Fashion shop page. With elements of a crown, centaurs, peacock feathers, butterflies, spikes and blooming roses, the Coat of Arms perfectly represents the duality of sensuality mixed with a strong and powerful persona of creativity and ingenuity that many can take into 2021.

Skye, the Phoenix herself is ready to take on 2021 with her Fashion empire as a new competitor in the field.  With a television show on the horizon, a novel, musical collaborations with international billboard charting artists, charity board positions, and more, 2021 is a year where Skye will innovate and dominate.  Represented by the various mythological creatures that are found throughout the “House of Skye” fashion empire, Skye is ready to leave a legacy in the fashion world and any other industry she steps into.
