Artist Southside Yoko Shares his Attempts to Find Peace in his New Hip-Hop Single, ‘Westside’

Southside Yoko, a hip-hop artist, has released a new single titled, “Westside”, in which he has shared his personal experiences. In the new single, he reflects on his attempts to find peace in a chaotic world. The upcoming hip-hop artist has embedded different musical elements by paying attention to different emotions in the song.

Southside Yoko grew up in the city of Hampton, VA and he was deeply passionate about music during his growing years. He has always derived his inspiration from his uncle, a legendary guitarist and producer, David Williams. His uncle worked with many renowned music artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Paul McCartney, and more.

From a very young age, Yoko was destined to achieve greatness and Black excellence that was instilled in him. After getting influenced by MC’s entrepreneurial manual, he ended up opening a barbershop in his neighborhood with a recording studio in it. He got influenced by many musical artists including Nipsey Hussle.

The hip-hop artist, Southside Yoko, has filled the new single “Westside” with different emotions and other personal experiences. He has done an exceptional job through his lyrics to give meaning to his living period in Hampton. This hip-hop single is loaded with clear vocals, smooth lyrics, and pop melodies.

“Westside” gives a message to enjoy living a colorful life by experiencing different human emotions and enjoying different relationships. It urges everyone to build new experiences and find positivity in them for moving forward in life.
