Shantel Giselle has a signature “conscious trap” sound that resides in the age-old interplay between light and dark. Shantel Giselle’s exceptional lyrics and splendid vocal skills lead to the production of quality music. While recording at Soundscape Studios in Chicago, Giselle starts with the hard scrabble foundation of life in the D and she very well utilizes juxtaposing sounds to add different aesthetics to her music.

The female rapper has combined Detroit’s renowned soul tradition or electronic scene with the ebb and flow of her bubbly performance to create a unique sound. Shantel Giselle has expressed that she loves to try different approaches to music for introducing new things. She has expressed that she loves to take social subjects that are normally considered difficult to encounter with trap music.
