Deron Keeton is a visionary. At such a young age, he began reading entrepreneurial books that shifted his mindset about money. Deron did not dream of having a particular career. But one thing he was sure about was that he wanted to create an extraordinary life that consists of time-freedom and financial independence. Deron was fascinated by the idea of having money work for him, not the other way around.
Even though he didn’t like school, Deron kept his grades up because he wanted to continue playing sports. However, he had to involuntarily drop out of college in his freshman year because of some unfortunate financial circumstances. What appeared to be a hurdle in his journey turned out to be an opportunity for Deron to rethink and reposition his priorities in life.
Deron ventured out to become a full-time personal trainer because he loved fitness. The other reason was that Deron appreciated the fact that he had more control over his time. Although personal training gave him the flexibility in schedule and a considerable paycheck, Deron wanted more. He desired a life that would allow him to travel more and give him the luxury of spending time with his family and friends.
In September of 2016, upon realizing that finding residual income is the best way to achieve the freedom he was looking for, Deron got involved in an online business opportunity. In his spare time, he explored more ways to earn money, and within a short span of ten months, Deron was able to earn more money in his sleep than he was making in his full-time job. He realized the immense potential that his entrepreneurial venture could give him, and so Deron decided to dedicate his life to it fully.
Aside from getting immersed in diverse businesses, Deron has also become passionate about educating others on entrepreneurship and shifting their mindsets to achieve the life they’ve designed. Over the years, Deron has coached hundreds of people all around the world about online businesses. What started as a digital platform for teaching aspiring entrepreneurs about trade secrets online developed into a full-blown company.
Deron launched Cash Flow University to further himself as a status quo disrupter. The company aims to be a universal financial literacy headquarters that will change mindsets and visions on a global scale. Cash Flow University is in the process of forming partnerships with respected and successful business owners from different industries to diversify the education the company provides. They aim to cover real estate investing, e-commerce, online businesses, investment opportunities, traditional business, as well as tax education.
Furthermore, the company aims to impact the lives of people globally by giving back 20% of its profits to meaningful causes. Their organization, The Cash Flow U Foundation, contributes 10% of its earnings to children suffering from malnutrition and the other 10% as donations to aid the mission to track, arrest, and prosecute child predators.
In all that he does, Deron always asks two critical questions in his platform. The first one is, “If time and money weren’t an issue, what would your ideal life look like?” Secondly, Deron asks, “Is what you’re currently doing ever going to create that life for you?” The entrepreneur found that most of the time, 99% of people he has come across respond with a no to the second question. Deron wants to be the turning point for people to step into a wonderful life.
Deron knows the struggle of spending years in an institution and gets no guarantee for a career afterward. So his company, Cash Flow University, wants to be seen as a viable and practical option for young individuals as an alternative to a college education. The entrepreneur aims to change millions of lives and remains motivated to share what he has learned from his experiences.
