G@k has released his new single “Hated Now” from his upcoming project “Welcome to Forever”

In his new album G@K is reminiscing his adolescence to create an anthem called Hated Now. It is a nostalgic trip the artist is taking to the times when he was young and he wants to go back to that time, those moments, memories that he hated then but enjoys today. He wishes he should have lived them better.

The single is about him yearning for those times that he appreciated today but didn’t care about then. He wishes he had appreciated those experiences more then. It is quite unique the way he has written and composed the songs as he wants to go back to the time but still is classifying them as destructive and painful times.

By the end of the song he shares that he recognizes these are just cycles he has created in his life. He has always hated the present. He has always ‘hated the now’ and he is doing the same even now by reminiscing about the past and talking less about the now. It is a habit he has built that has desensitized the pain in his life. This habit he recognizes has brought misfortune in his life.

But he does know that uncomfortable seasons bring ‘life’ to our lives. They are there to help you, says the artist. So you need to be present in the moment to learn and make the most of all seasons and learn all your lessons in the moment. Otherwise life will teach it to you time and again till the lesson is not learnt. “You are likely to retake the class,” he shares.
