People look up to others for many reasons. Some want to be rich. Others want to help people. Then, there are those who want to do all of the above. The people who want to run a business with a purpose and retain their family values look up to Mario Selva for inspiration.

Selva is an Italian-born entrepreneur. He is a man who wears many hats, as he has studied finance, business, public relations, psychology, and marketing. A graduate from the prestigious University of Naples Federico II, Selva has always marched to the beat of his own drum. To date, he has made millions of dollars and amassed a large following on social media.

Mario’s beginnings were unconventional. He never wanted to work in an office. He wanted to see the world, which is why he started working with Amazon sellers right after graduation. He was very successful at it, but one day, out of nowhere, Amazon disabled his page. Mario lost that stream of income, but he did not panic. Instead, he realized that he needed to create his own business that only he would have control over.

While many would have given up then and there, Selva persisted, and this is another reason why he’s so well-liked by so many people. He launched his first e-commerce store in 2018 and made $180,000 in four months. “I got the idea when I was traveling to New York City,” he recalls, adding, “I saw an old lady buying food online and I thought that I could really do something with the convenience aspect and build it into a profitable business.” Selva invested his profits once again and launched a drop-shipping business.

That, too, was a huge hit. Mario made $1.5 million in only 18 months. This achievement brought him a large new following on social media, as people were interested in finding out how it all happened. Mario credits his mindset for his massive victories early on.

“Honestly, mindset is 50% of everything. Once you master that, you’ll be good. But things will be hard at first. You need to be prepared for that,” he says. His fans adore Mario because he’s always authentic and ready to share advice.

“I hate going against the competition on purpose. In fact, I try to pick a product that is as unique as possible so that I’m not stepping on anyone’s toes and I’m doing my own thing,” he explains. “In any case, I never play dirty. I just base everything on my skills and expertise.”

Mario wants his legacy to be helping people and making a difference. He doesn’t want to be remembered only by the number of millions he made. He prefers people to associate him with a positive social impact as a teacher and a mentor. This is why Selva invests a lot of time and energy into his family and his team and continues to serve as an inspiration for thousands of people across the globe.
