Latitude28, the Florida Performance Group, Shakes up the World During Pandemic with its Live Concert Tour

While most summers are remembered by a beautiful combination of festivals, fairs, and concerts, this one has turned out to be something completely different. In fact, the pandemic has put a halt to most of the live entertainment events normally witnessed during the summer months.

It’s one of the reasons why the band Latitude28 is shaking up the world as we know it. Latitude28 is a Florida performance group that covers popular songs in genres ranging from pop, rock, and hip hop to country, alternative, and dance. Founded in 2018 by Avinash Singh, the group is redefining the way that we understand live entertainment in the age of COVID.

Singh was also an integral part in designing their latest tour — The Drive-In and Fireworks Extravaganza Tour. The tour was crafted to enable COVID friendly live entertainment, combining the outdoor festival experience with social distancing safety protocols. The tour has already hit states across the central and southeast U.S.

The show itself includes world-class production with CO2 jets, lasers LED panels, fireworks, and more. Not to mention, it all takes place outside in large-scale parking lots and outdoor drive-ins. Fans have the opportunity to either watch directly from their cars or a designated and socially distanced space outside. The innovative idea for the tour came to the band after they watched local churches holding sermons in outdoor drive-in lots. They’ve since taken the idea and run with it. Latitude28 has also made it a point to perform in smaller markets where people don’t often have the chance to experience high-level concert production.

Even now the band continues to storm across the country, bringing socially distanced parties to each and every stop. They are simultaneously airing their TV reality show on Amazon Prime Video. You can watch their journey on now and check their website for tour dates coming to a city near you.
