With a vision to perfectly marry the idea of gift-giving and desserts, The Dessert Ladies launched a spin-off company called Biens Chocolate Centerpieces. It launched the first shippable chocolate centerpieces, made available across the United States.

The Dessert Ladies began when the passionate founders had a hard time finding a local gift specialist that could combine quality ingredients and unique artistry. Since its launch in 2010, the company has become leaders in creating edible gifts, not only in New Jersey but all over the country.

The Dessert Ladies aims to change the way people say thoughtful messages through custom desserts that would best reflect the company, brand, or individual. Their partnership with Century 21 made it possible to provide delicious custom gifts nationwide. The Dessert Ladies want to be their clients’ partner in creating a memorable dessert experience.

In 2015, the company launched Dessert Ladies Events, following the success of their individual and bite-sized dessert menu. From crafting the desserts like cake centerpieces or their signature Bien Tree Sculpture, the company also tackles decorating and transforming event spaces. Dessert Ladies Events brings transformative experiences for their clients as a full-service events agency. Since then, they have been delivering innovative ideas for anniversaries, promotional parties, open-house features, weddings, showers, and so much more.

Their most celebrated product, Biens chocolate cake truffles, gained more momentum in the industry by joining Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Business Program. Not long after, The Dessert Ladies decided to build a company that would solely focus on their best seller. Hence, Biens Chocolate Centerpieces was born. Each product is baked, designed, and patented by Geraldine Keogh, CEO, and Lindsay Smith, chief branding officer for Biens Chocolate Centerpieces.

The vision of creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces stems from the company’s principle that showing appreciation and gratitude is an art. “Our two biggest passions are chocolate and presentation, so we’ve combined our love for both,” said Lindsay.

The sturdy centerpiece is not only a true feast for the eyes but is also well-crafted and built to withstand long travels. The company’s consciousness and understanding of the value of luxury items change the course of the edible gift-giving market. It presented a revolutionary way of expressing gratitude and symbolizing celebrations in the sweetest way possible.

Each Bien is made of a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake truffle coated in gourmet chocolate. Indeed, it is the ultimate solution for a corporate gift because of its decadence and lasting impact. The company also makes it possible for its client’s logo to be incorporated with their designs. On top of that, to match any event, Bien’s Chocolate Centerpieces is presented in a chic, minimalist themed packaging with their delicate gold logo for a touch of luxury.

Biens Chocolate Centerpieces recently opened a second operating facility to expand its production capacity as the famous centerpiece enters that national market. “We have huge plans for expansion, with the help of our mentors at the Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Business Program and the SBA Emerging Leaders Program that will take our newly invented and manufactured chocolate creations to the next level,” said Lindsay. She also expressed that they plan on bringing Biens Chocolate Centerpieces into the international scene soon.

“It’s the little extra touches that make the difference, and we’re the experts of delivering a luxury lasting impression,” said Lindsay. The Dessert Ladies and Biens Chocolate Centerpieces strive to create stunning edible artforms. Like every display or expression of gratitude, the two companies settle for nothing less than the best.
