Erika Mejía came to America like many immigrants come, with eyes full of dreams and a will to achieve. She came from Honduras to fulfill the great American Dream. When she came to America, she only had $200 to her name. Other than that, she had nothing but only a dream.

She took many odd jobs, and she never said no to work. During her time in Miami, she did the job of a secretary, a domestic worker, a saleswoman, and a shop assistant. Her different jobs brought her close to her self-realization.

Erika always knew in the back of her mind that she did not want to work for others forever. She wanted to do something on here own. Through her many jobs, she came across roses. She learned how to make pretty bouquets. Moreover, she learned how to make gorgeous formations using roses. And now her Instagram channel, @erikamejia_oficial, sings the story of her success through these roses.

After a great deal of saving, she opened her florist shop called “Lovely Roses“. She opened up as a nobody, but now she has A-listers as her clients. Celebrities like Demi Lovato, Anuel AA, Karol G, Luis Fonsi, Camila Cabello, and Thalía are her loyal customers.

Miami’s Elite now turns to Erika whenever there is a need for roses. They depend on her sheer artistry with flowers.

Erika has also become a massive figure in Miami’s Latino Community. She is held as an icon for all those who want to become successful. Erika may have had humble origins, but that did not stop her from being one of the successful businesswomen of Miami.
