Tal Johnson, the CEO of Herb Pharm, said that to generate the legacy of the ERP environment, the company is using multiple independent pieces of software including Excel, Access, and self make software.

Herb Pharm grows herbs on its own organic farms and also sources it from other trusted growers. The company is doing all the extraction and bottling through its own herbal extraction machines. It is in need of a strategic move away from a modular ERP structure that could handle the company’s farm-to-shelf requirements.

Deacom’s ERP has the potential to meet those needs by providing functionality specific to Herb Pharm including quality function and a native component of the core system.

Its operation for Herb Farm will allow all members of the company to access information instantly and use the data to gain an understanding of the performance. Herb Pharm is going to maintain all operations within a single ERP system. It will allow the company to control complex operations and improve the ability to forecast demand for production needs.

The company is also expecting to see a great benefit from a growing cycle. Herb Pharm is also taking the benefits of using Deacom’s cloud services that are allowing the company to place a higher focus on its own business operations rather than the IT requirements.
