Singapore – Companies in the process of construction and maintenance industry in SGP will able to gain an identity if they follow some productivity rules. The companies providing services to energy and chemical plants will also gain recognition.
There is a new certification framework that will test companies in four areas, how they improve planning and execution through project management tools, technology adoption, staff development, and data collection.
Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Dr. Koh Poh Koon, said that certified companies take benefits from being plant owners and they would be engaged in contracts. As per Data SGP, the Economic Development Board is the first in the world for the energy and chemical industry and it can be beneficial for Singapore if implemented properly. The country is facing carbon constraints and land constraints. It can do more than the expectations by increasing productivity.
