Belgium Real Estate is Passing through a Record Breaking Stability

Last year Belgium witnessed a record sales of luxury property in the country. The sale of goods in the country in 2018 was one million euros and had jumped as compared to 2010. The coastal area of Belgium, Knokke-Heist, has topped the ranking for luxury property sales. The average price of a luxury home there was 2,006,500 euros while luxury apartments that are numerous in this coastal town, had witnessed the average price 1,313,750 euros in Belgium. Antwerp, Schilde, Sint-Martens-Latem, and Uccle follow Knokke-Heist as the top 5 municipalities in Belgium where the luxury property sales took place.

The reason behind the hike in luxury property sale in the country is the role of real estate to represent 86% of an average Belgian household’s asset, according to the National Bank of Belgium. Hence it is predictable how valuable would be an apartment, immo Belgique home, and villa in Belgium. House and rental prices in the country have increased by 300% since the mid-90s due to the perfect policies and circumstances that led to increasing the value.
