Disney activated social media marketing recently. And it guaranteed discount for attendees of this weekend’s D23 Expo. It made its new accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Also it posted a short video highlighting the National Geographic, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar and Disney titles coming to service.

Disney+ is the most important product that Disney has launched according to CEO Bob Iger. He said that calling Disney+ comprehensive is an understatement. It’s probably the most important product of Disney.

This month Disney+ received promotional blitz in mostly every platform. May it be traditional or may it be non-traditional. With the help of a social media agency, as well as some of the best Google AdWords advertising agencies, all the hotels, theme parks, social media and D-23 the company owns, promoted Disney+.

Disney+ is first in the line of new services. Apple, WarnerMedia and NBCUniversal, all are aiming to make new services. Even Disney predicted that it may reach 90 million global subscribers by 2024 from 60 million.

In its twitter handle Disney+ posted a video highlighting Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic, Marvel and Disney. Disney+ tweeted- “Someone asked us to formally introduce ourselves so of course we made a video.”

The streaming service of Disney gets promoted at the Annual edition of the D23 expo in Anaheim. Those who attend the presentation can also join the services of “Founder’s circle” for three years with a discount of $23.

Disney + will charge $7 in US. But if the subscription is yearly, then it is just $70. But a bundle with Hulu’s basic tier and ESPN+ will cost $13. Anyone who goes ahead and attends the D23 Expo earns a $23 annual discount.
