In an attempt to expand its current delivery as well as pickup efforts, Walmart has unveiled a brand new annual subscription worth $98, known as Delivery Unlimited, which would offer the customers unlimited grocery deliveries.

Walmart offered delivery service already in which customers can get their online ordered items shipped at their home or a nearest store free of cost for a delivery fee worth $9.95 per order. However, as per a report by TechCrunch, the new Walmart annual grocery subscription would cost $98 a year and would allow the customers to avoid delivery fee for each order.

In order to avail the service, the customers will have to place the order on the official Walmart website or application and can choose a delivery option as to when they’d like their order to get delivered. However, it is still unclear as to how many areas the new Delivery Unlimited service would cover.

Notably, this new service comes in at a time when Walmart has unveiled an array of other new services as an attempt to grab the attention of online shoppers towards its store. This includes free, 1-day shipping service for orders above $35 as well as in-home delivery facility which would let employees enter the home of the customers in order place the groceries into their refrigerator directly.
