Dolph Lundgren and Leland Chapman Joins Forces With US Veteran Colin Wayne For Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a day to pay our respects to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and since returning from war where he survived a rocket attack himself, US Veteran Colin Wayne has made it his mission to put ‘People Over Profit’.

With this mindset, Wayne has partnered up with countless celebrities over the years for different give-back initiatives, where he has collectively raised over six million in product donations. Last year for Memorial Day, he raised millions alongside actress Megan Fox, and to bring on his 3rd annual Memorial Day Give Back, Wayne enlisted the help of actor Dolph Lundgren and television personality Leland Chapman, son of Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Together this year, with the help of USA Cares, a non-profit with a mission to provide military veterans, service members, and their families with emergency financial assistance and post-service skills, the team raised over $100K in product donations by noon on Memorial Day, and that number continued to grow throughout the day with both products donations and actual funds donated directly to the non-profit.

In a statement about partnering up with Wayne, Dolph said, “I was approached [by Colin Wayne and Redline Steel] to join the give-back and immediately decided to do it. To be able to help veterans and their families is important to me. They make the greatest sacrifice to help keep us all and the world around us safe. Remembering service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for us puts all our usual problems and complaints in perspective.”

Wayne couldn’t be more happy to have Dolph, a Veteran as well from his own country, on board, telling us, “Between his military background serving in the Swedish Marine Corps, to his passion for helping others, and the immense love for his family, I instantly knew how important it was to partner with Dolph. His exemplary character and honorable actions over the years made partnering with him an easy choice.”

The Memorial Day Give Back allows people across the United States to either get a free product or donate money directly to USA Cares. With Instagram and Facebook helping Wayne and co. get the word out and connect Dolph (currently shooting in Mexico City) and Wayne (located in Alabama), Leland Chapman and his wife Jamie Chapman joined Wayne directly in Huntsville, AL at his Redline Steel headquarters for a special one-hour broadcast, which drew in over half-a-million viewers watching, just proving that instead of drinking back a cold one, Americans were tuned in to help raise money to remember those who gave us our freedoms.

With Memorial Day past us, Wayne made sure all Americans knew not to just treat this day as “one day” but to always keep these fallen heroes in their mind each and every day. “As a Veteran, Memorial Day is the most important federal holiday in existence and unfortunately has lost its true meaning. Memorial Day is a day to honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It’s a day to honor the family members and loved ones that are no longer here so that we can have the many freedoms that we have in America.”
