AeroFlexx’s Revolutionary Packaging Is Not Only Saving Companies Money, It’s Also Eco-friendly

The issue of climate change has been on most people’s minds, and many consumers are calling for the companies with whom they spend money to increase their focus on sustainability.

A revolutionary liquid packaging option has been introduced by the company AeroFlexx, and not only is it saving companies money on their packaging needs, but it offers an eco-friendly option in this age of sustainability.

Environmentalists have long targeted the liquid packaging industry, calling attention to the wastefulness and overuse of plastics in the packaging of products such as shampoo and condiments. While traditional liquid packaging is easy to use and sturdy, it is often not the best choice for eco-friendliness.

The best of both worlds

AeroFlexx is a full-service liquid packaging company that combines the best parts of both rigid and flexible packaging options in a single solution. The AeroFlexx Pak is made from flexible materials, but still acts as a rigid bottle, maintaining its shape throughout use. For companies such as personal care, food, and household product manufacturers, this is a “best of both worlds” situation for their customers.

Companies are drawn to AeroFlexx as they come right off the line fully decorated, hermetically sealed, and tamper-proof. The bottles are still flexible and easy to squeeze, have an integrated valve within the packaging, and won’t break if dropped —  enhancing the customer experience.

“The design of AeroFlexx packaging eliminates consumer frustration,” Andrew Meyer, AeroFlexx CEO, told NYWeekly, “Once a consumer tears open the Pak, they just need to grab and squeeze it to dispense, with the unique value design preventing any unwanted excess from escaping.

Prioritizing sustainability

Today’s consumer cares about the sustainability of the products they use. Recent surveys show that up to 80% of consumers are concerned about sustainability when they buy from companies. Companies are not only aware of shifting consumer preferences, but also their own effects on the environment. Many seek a way to reduce the amount of waste they produce and decrease their overall carbon footprint.

The AeroFlexx Pak is designed with sustainability as a priority. The leadership at AeroFlexx knew that something needed to be done to address the lack of recycling of plastics — less than 9% of plastics used globally are eventually recycled — and the negative effects of plastic production on the climate.

The AeroFlexx Pak requires less energy, 73% less water consumption, and plastic upfront to produce. In addition, the Paks can be made with up to 70% less plastic and can incorporate up to 50% recycled content — eliminating up to 85% virgin plastic compared to a traditional rigid bottle.

AeroFlexx is poised to completely disrupt the packaging industry, and as a company, they have high expectations for their innovative product. By converting just 500 million packaging units to the AeroFlexx Pak design, over 13 million gallons of gas, 51 million pounds of carbon dioxide, and 120 million kilowatts of energy could be saved, per the company.

Climate change continues to make headlines, and companies are realizing they need to shift to more eco-friendly packaging options or run the risk of not only alienating customers, but also damaging the environment.

As Andrew Meyer told the Los Angeles Tribune, he is hopeful that the AeroFlexx Pak packaging solution will allow companies to commit to eco-friendly and consumer-friendly goals. “By adopting the AeroFlexx Pak, companies can accelerate progress toward their environmental, social, and governance goals,” he adds. “For organizations that have fallen behind their targets, our packaging also offers a quick and easy way to get back on track.”

With their innovative, forward-thinking approach and design, AeroFlexx is hopeful they can help companies from various industries meet customer demand and dial back the damage done to the environment from years of wasteful plastic use.
