There is truly nothing more fulfilling for any artist to have their works resonate with and inspire others. Many of those in the music industry are utilizing their platform to influence and connect with people from all over the world. This is definitely something that up-and-coming artist Michael Antonio Almeida—commonly known as “Tony V.”—would like to achieve.

Tony is an American singer-songwriter, music producer, rapper, and DJ. Growing up in Puerto Rico, Tony developed a keen interest and passion for music during his early years. He has always been motivated to share his art with others but was not able to do so until recently when he decided to pursue his career in music fulltime.

He has a background in the military, having served in the United States Marine for ten years. Later on, he went on to do some community work with various institutions and non-profit organizations, which was his goal upon graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. He spent some time working on community-impacting projects, setting an example for many troubled youths. Soon, he decided to switch his major to a Masters in Business Administration degree with a focus on marketing. However, it was not long until Tony realized that deep in his heart, it was music that he truly wanted to pursue. He finally made the jump and began his journey into the music industry.

At the beginning of 2020, the artist released his debut album called “0703” with a total of 11 tracks. Three more singles—“‘How Do You Sleep,” “It’s a Vibe,” and “Ride for You”—followed suit upon his album’s release. According to the artist, more content is on the way, and he is excited more than ever to share it with the world.

Tony values the various platforms he has had the opportunity to build and grow, which allows him to connect with his growing fan base. He continues to use these avenues to mentor and help others in any way he can. The artist hopes to share his life experiences, as well as his values, to those who are looking for change and inspiration. In an Instagram post last April, the humble artist talked about the meteor shower, describing it as a “reminder of how beautiful life can be.” He believes it is the simple things in life that people need to soak in to remind themselves that life is worth living and that it should be spent creating beautiful memories.

The artist prides himself on being a diverse musician who can write and perform various genres of music. His materials are not limited to one market. Tony speaks both the English and Spanish languages as well.

According to the artist, this is only the beginning. He is committed to continually improving his craft, eager to connect with more and more people every day—particularly those who have a deep love for music and how it can be a means to connect and escape. Loves, compassion, experiences, and good vibes, are among the things Tony incorporates into his music.

To know more about this emerging talent and his art, stream his music on the platforms in his LinkTree profile, and connect with him via his Instagram page.
