Alla Arutyunyan: Facing the Enemy of God

It was in her heart to do what is right from the moment she opened her eyes to the cruel reality of this world. An obscure childhood overwhelmed with instances of supernatural experience isolating her from this realm to bring forth chaos and underlying confusion. Young girl witnessing heaven on earth that slowly crumbles to uncertainty of the neutral existence. It leads her fragile heart to break and abandon her purity. She is transported to a place of eternal darkness.

God had mercy on her soul and brought her back to life – the life that keeps slipping through her fingers.

Every step is a fall, and every breath feels like the last one. The struggle is invisible to those around her and is never spoken of. It took her years to claim freedom from the devil – and now she speaks.

Alla Arutyunyan was born in the midst of chaos in the nation that was facing the imminent collapse and in the family that was meant to break apart. She was born dead and revived to experience it again with her eyes open.

She could find solace in knowing God and His infinite love for her. His gift to her was the artistic expression that kept her heart beating through it all. And it was music that took the pain and set her free. It spoke when she couldn’t, and gave her courage to confront inner turmoil.

It goes beyond the grief and sorrow – it is otherworldly. Something forbidden and seemingly dangerous. It is between her and the devil – and it is personal.

The truth would set you free. Alla is no stranger to this ambiguous notion. It comes with anguish, and she knows this. Her commitment to seeking truth and shedding light on it had isolated her greatly. Her lonely path had strengthened her will. There is no going back.

Her music leads the way to darkness that is almost incomprehensible. Issues of human trafficking, satanic ritual abuse, war crimes, and sexual slavery are some of the critical themes addressed in her work. It is taboo and marked with threatening danger – yet she continues the path of exposing the cruelty that burdens the lives of innocent people. They have no voice as their troubles are trivial to the authority that led them astray. Alla wishes to speak on their behalf and create change through action, even at the cost of her own sanity.

Often misunderstood and judged, she made peace with the ongoing resistance she had to face in order to do what is right. There was punishment always awaiting her whenever she chose to expose evil and stand by those who fell victim to it.

It didn’t break her or deter persistence towards creating change – defeating the devil and breaking the bondage to set people free. Alla had faced this directly through tumult of demonic possessions and spiritual rape. There were instances of near death experience that brought her to hell. Such horror had to be suppressed. At the time, she chose to dissociate from it.

But it is no longer an option. She would have to walk through hell to reach heaven.

The music she writes is a call to action. It is also a cry for help. There is authenticity that takes you to the depths of agony and a blissful ascension to light that seems to be infinite. Alla hopes her listeners get to feel the emotion that would trigger the pain meant to transform their reality.

She cannot witness the suffering of the world and be a silent bystander of cruelty. It is hidden in plain sight. And it is in her heart to bring clarity to those unwilling to accept the world for what it is.

Nothing is what it seems – her music leads you there. It can be frightening, yet illuminating.

There is dissonance in the music she writes as there is in the hidden reality it reflects. It feels like a mystery – and it is somewhat deliberate. It tempts you to seek the unknown and leads you down the rabbit hole. It ends with truth – and it is all she ever wished for.

It leads to pain and resolves itself through unconditional love. It is her desire to help you see this. It all leads to God. His light would mend the broken heart. It is her intention to do the same through her music.

She walks with Christ and surrenders to His will. There is a war beyond this realm, and she has to fight. Alla never had a choice to back down. It is her fate, and she would like to honor it.

It is in the hands of God what follows next, and the truth can only reveal itself through His glory. It is our heart that shines light over darkness and offers hope to those who no longer wish to see it.
