With the pressures of climate change, the increasing demand for sustainable practices, and the need for enhanced crop yields looming, opportunities abound to meet these challenges in the form of emerging technologies like IoT, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology. Technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) analyze vast amounts of data from various sources, including satellite imagery, sensor data, and weather forecasts, to provide insights that were previously unattainable. AI algorithms can predict crop yields, detect plant diseases early, and recommend precise amounts of fertilizers and pesticides. This not only boosts productivity but also helps in mitigating risks associated with farming.
