MD Exam Has a Healthier Way to Lose Weight

America has been suffering from an obesity epidemic for decades. In studies conducted between 2017 and 2020 by the CDC, it was found that 41.9% of Americans could be deemed obese. This issue became more prevalent with the COVID-19 pandemic and the sedentary lifestyle it brought about for many people in the years since. Many people reported tremendous weight gain over the course of the pandemic shutdown, emerging from the era of Covid as newly inducted members of the 41.9% club.

Sergio Padron, founder of MD Exam, has brought about a collection of programs combining tested and proven weight loss solutions with expert guidance. MD Exam’s ultimate goal is to give people a path to lasting results.

Perhaps they’ve tried everything else, and any weight they did lose simply came back. Padron has developed his program to help people lose weight the right way — and keep it off.

A healthier option

Padron and his team believe that the problem of obesity runs deeper than simply not being able to fit into our favorite pair of jeans anymore. “We believe obesity is a treatable disease and also the single biggest cause of the mental health crisis,” says Padron. Several studies have discovered a clear link between mental health issues such as depression.

With there being such a demand for honest and effective weight loss options, Padron has developed a program that combines the latest medication, coaching, and modern technology to help people not only lose weight, but keep it off. “We pride ourselves on providing affordable, high-quality weight loss to everyone,” he says. “The deck is stacked against you and many others trying to lose weight.”

MD Exam strives to even the odds by providing proven, medically sound results. The medications utilized by MD Exam are FDA-approved and safe, and their use is backed by a healthy diet and lifestyle support.

How it works

MD Exam offers a variety of programs to fit most needs. The Classic Program is billed as a kickstarter and utilizes a weight loss medication that has been effectively used for over 40 years, and their Game Changer program is based around Semaglutide — a drug that is often sold under brand names like Ozempic. These medications have been making headlines as of late due to their overwhelming effectiveness in weight loss plans because they work with your hormones and make you feel full faster.

Additionally, MD Exam’s Ultimate Program uses the strongest weight loss medication available on the market — Tirzepatide. The drug is a powerful appetite suppressant that works to radically alter the user’s relationship with food.

MD Exam also offers a program completely based around the drug Wegovy, combining the use of the drug and a sensible diet and exercise program. Each of MD Exam’s programs is backed with dedicated support from their team, advanced calorie and nutrition tracking, and an exercise and habit change program to help people reframe their approach to health.

What stands in the way

Padron has identified four factors that have stood in the way of lasting weight loss for many people, of which the most significant barrier seems to be a lack of know-how. “The biggest issue people come across is a lack of knowledge about proper eating, exercise, and self-care habits,” he notes.

A lack of time also cuts into one’s ability to practice self-care. With kids to look after, jobs to attend to, and running a household, many people have learned over the years to place their own wellbeing at the bottom of the priority list.

Hormonal imbalances also play a role in the inability to lose weight and keep it off. “In this case, it really isn’t their fault,” says Padron. “For those who struggle with hormonal imbalances, such as hypothyroidism, this makes losing weight difficult — if not seemingly impossible.”

Lifestyle changes are also a hurdle to lasting weight loss, Padron has found, with the pandemic remaining one of the biggest reasons people cite for weight gain in recent years. Starting college, beginning a new job, or becoming a parent also frequently contribute to weight gain, as significant lifestyle changes can create stress, time crunches, and other health issues that contribute to weight gain.

MD Exam recognizes these factors and builds solutions to these issues into their programs, allowing people to traverse a path of least resistance toward their weight loss goals.

Sustainable change

Patients have reported losing upwards of 40 lbs in a matter of months using MD Exam. “Their relationship with food changes,” says Padron. “Anyone can lose weight with gimmicks, but the problem is those gimmicks are unsustainable.”

MD Exam’s portfolio of programs seeks to create lasting change for patients. Their programs are not meant to be a one-and-done weight loss plan, but something that becomes a lifestyle change.

As Padron explains, MD Exam is interested in helping patients make lifelong changes, not following trends. “Taking care of your body is a lifelong process of self-discovery. It’s figuring out what agrees with your body and your life, not what works for the influencers on social media.”
