Possessing a clear vision of one’s goal is essential in materializing and manifesting that goal into a reality. However, as seen with many successful individuals, having ambition must be coupled with hard work and a determination to succeed. In the case of Aanik Adatia, best known as Scoobie Da Jeweler, his success in the custom jewel industry is evidence of his dedication to excellence as one of the most talented jewelers.

Before becoming a trendsetter in the jewel industry with numerous accomplishments, Scoobie Da Jeweler began his entrepreneurial journey at 16 during the economic recession when his family’s jewelry business struggled to stay open. The brilliant visionary brainstormed ways to keep the business afloat and simultaneously provide quality service to the customers. Finally, he got his eureka moment when he figured he could help customers save gas money and shop from the convenience of their homes by offering the products in an online store with a home delivery option.

Over the years, this innovative method proved a game changer, elevating the brand and its customers, even paying Scoobie Da Jeweler’s way through college and his first corporate job. Then, however, everything took a devastating turn when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and took its toll on corporate America. Overwhelmed, Scoobie struggled with his corporate job as he worked an unsustainable 100 hours. Eventually, he left the cut-throat corporate world to fully dedicate his energy to the jewelry game, particularly custom jewelry.

“Once COVID hit, I knew I had zero income coming in, and my father wasn’t going to pay for my

expenses, which is good because he taught me to start from the bottom. I knew I had to be uncomfortable to get to where I wanted to be, and I was still uncomfortable. I sold both my cars saved used one of the money from the cars to buy a duplex to sustain downturns in business.  A quote, ‘uncommon amongst uncommon people’ by David Goggins, helped me understand what I needed to do,” Scoobie Da Jeweler shared.

Backed with years of experience in perfecting his craft, Scoobie Da Jeweler’s artistic approach to

jewelry design has propelled him to the forefront of the industry as an expert knowledgeable in the field. He prides his unique business model on transparency and authenticity, delivering quality pieces to his growing clientele while ensuring they are adequately enlighted on the differences and benefits of getting custom pieces rather than mass-produced jewelry.

Scoobie, driven by his vision and ambition, prides himself on providing customers with exceptional services. “The best part about me when getting a custom piece; is you are not being ripped off on price,” he assured. As part of his customer-oriented approach, the inspiring individual adapted his sales and services to cater to everyone by working with all budgets while providing excellent customer service to help his clients choose from an array of metals best suited for their needs.

Despite gaining recognition as a reputable custom jeweler, Scoobie Da Jeweler remains dedicated to providing clients with quality work, custom designs and excellent customer service with every purchase while keeping the prices fair. Although most of his clients are College Football and Basketball players, he sets money limits and helps them be financially responsible. “I know they are exposed to the media, and I know how reckless money can make someone. Hence, I tell all of my players’ families: school and football first, and I am always last,” he said.

In the coming years, Scoobie Da Jeweler aims to continue expanding his brand and become a household name as the best custom jeweler in the United States, where there is honesty, realness and trust regardless of who you are and where you come from.
