He mentions how he noticed a huge waste management issue in Indonesia. So, he began with cleaning the beaches first and made rigorous efforts towards the same. However, he saw how the amount of plastic kept growing, and he realized that only by cleaning beaches he was acting out on the consequences and not dealing with the cause.
