Families affected by a chronic or terminal illness of a child know first-hand the financial toll it can take. This is an epidemic that is under-insured and under-compensated. No family should have to go through the hardship of having a chronically ill child alone. Unfortunately, many families do not have the support they need to cope with the challenges that come with a sick child. One of the most important things that these organizations do is provide financial assistance. Many families of chronically ill children have high medical bills. They may also have to miss work in order to care for their child. This can make it difficult to make ends meet. Financial assistance can help ease some of the financial burden that these families face.
Such organizations also provide emotional support. Caring for a chronically ill child can be very stressful. Parents may feel like they are always worried about their child. They may feel guilty if they are not able to do everything for their child. Organizations that assist families of chronically ill children can provide parents with the emotional support they need. The good news is, there are public charity organizations and programs available to assist families of chronically ill children. And one of them is Helping Families of Chronically ill Children (HFCIC)!
Learn About HFCIC & How it Assists People Across the Country
Founded by Cynthia Lourde in San Francisco Bay Area in 2014, HFCIC is a public charity foundation that was set up to help and support children with special needs and their families with equipment and therapy. Their goal is to raise awareness on the wider spectrum of special needs in community circles, teaching them about the ways they can better support those who are different. With this being achieved, life for a child with special needs will become far easier than it is at present. The foundation is working round the clock towards its goal and to fulfill the objectives.
Started her career as an IT Engineer, Cynthia Lourde is now among the most active Philanthropists and runs her charity foundation with a clear vision of what she wants to give to the world. She promotes the welfare of others, by the donations to good causes. HFCIC is a platform where people who wish to donate medical supplies to the needy ones, can generously contribute in making this world a better place.
Cynthia started this charity foundation to help affected families by providing medical supplies and aid to their children. She is working hard to advocate how families can maintain the best health possible so the children in those families can still thrive to be the best they can be through Individualized Education Program.
Cynthia’s Programs & Therapies for Little Ones
ADAPTIVE BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS THERAPY (ABA) is an innovative yet cost-effective therapy offered to children who have disabilities in order for them to learn how to interact with people their own age. This therapy gives the little ones a chance to flourish and be a part of this beautiful world. Children attend the session at the HFCIC and other public areas such as library, community centers, and in after school programs.
Through HFCIC, Cynthia is supporting people who have a desire to give back to their community by sharing what they have. She’s also providing reusable equipment to the less fortunate and families in need. This ultimately saves our valuable things from going to waste. By establishing therapies and several programs, the organization hopes to establish a strong health-care system for families affected by chronical ill children and create a very positive impact on the community.
The foundation has never received any monetary donations from the public or grants from the Government. It operates solely using funds donated by Cynthia for shipping supplies and incentivizing volunteers to help in therapies and workshops.
