Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in St Augustine, Florida, Rebekah Smith is a young, vibrant, up-and-coming entrepreneur with a passion for spreading positivity and increasing financial literacy through her work. At just 21 years old, Rebekah has created great success for herself in the world of business and she is here with us to share her entrepreneurial journey and her best advice for achieving success and turning goals into reality!

Rebekah, let’s start at the beginning of your journey. What first inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

It started from a really young age, my parents actually had a business of their own, so I was able to pick up on their entrepreneurial habits, skills and mindset and learn about what it takes to grow a business early on in my life. We’ve had many family-owned companies from cleaning businesses to a five-star Caribbean Restaurant here in St Augustine.

That’s amazing! Let’s talk about the business you’ve been working on to date. What is the concept and how are you helping people?

The concept of the business is to empower, enrich and enlighten people to understand that you can really achieve the life that you desire when you work hard for what you want. We help individuals to create a life they never had before by learning how to invest in the foreign exchange market using the number one platform to do so.

Learning to invest helps people in many different aspects. It allows people to come into a space that gives them access to information that can be used not only to learn a new skill, but to expand their mindset to achieve a successful life in general. Just a few things that the platform actually provides are strategies to help develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, training videos, live trading sessions, as well as mentorship from top educators and traders on the foreign exchange market. It’s just been a wonderful way to impact and encourage people to move into their most positive state of mind. I really enjoy helping people so having an opportunity and platform to share ways for people to not only earn an income, but become better versions of themselves, has been very rewarding.

It’s very inspiring how dedicated you are to helping others become financially stable. Rebekah, tell us some of your goals that you have for your future personally and with your business.

For myself personally, I have always been someone who is working towards having a better life for myself and those I care about. My main goal in life is to be influential and inspiring to those who are struggling with trying to find themselves and are less fortunate. I want to help them understand that all things are possible with God in the midst of everything and that you can do anything you set your mind to.

I also want to create wealth in my family and for my generations to come. I want to be able to retire my family; it’s been up and down having a restaurant business, it can be very demanding without a lot of time to relax or spend with family.

Overall I want to spread positivity and happiness to my loved ones and my community through my ability to create financial stability from this business.

Getting to this level of success with your business must have been challenging. What kind of difficulties did you face in your entrepreneurial journey?

I love this question because it really makes me reflect on where I’ve been to where I am now.  Looking back I’ve always had some kind of self doubt, whether it’s in myself or with the success of my business. Over time, I’ve just had to figure out ways to uplift myself and believe in myself. I’ve always had so much potential but that also came with this self-doubt that was holding me back from achieving what I knew I could. I wouldn’t really share my talents or put myself out there because I was always scared. So going into entrepreneurship as a new, fresh businesswoman has really pushed me even further and helped me gain more confidence in myself and my abilities. I realized that believing in myself is the only way that I’ll be able to achieve my goals. If I believe my goals will become a reality then they will. Another thing I do is put my trust in God. That has helped me as well with becoming more confident in myself, because I know that there’s a higher power above me that is wanting the best for me and that gives me the strength to really be the best that I can be.

Thank you for sharing your story with us, Rebekah. In closing, please give us your best pieces of advice you would offer an aspiring entrepreneur.

Really the main piece of advice I would give is to be patient with your process. Everything takes time and every entrepreneur should know that you normally do not know everything at first but that’s why the process is the best part of the journey of becoming an entrepreneur because you find out what works for you along the way. Start from now – make your mistakes now, so that by the end you know what is best to do so that you can go forth in your best potential and be the best version of yourself. My second piece of advice is make sure you’re doing what you love because once you do that and you’re passionate about it, it will never seem like work to you. My last piece of advice would be don’t be scared to try new and unique ideas to set you apart from the others. Stand out and be proud. Be the best you can be. Don’t let anybody tear you down and build self-confidence by knowing and believing that what you’re doing with your life is going to work for you. Be different, be unique, be yourself. People really love something different to look at, something new, something fresh and the best way to deliver on that is by being uniquely you.
