The demand for Product Managers has increased over the last half a decade, with Glassdoor ranking the product manager position as the 4th best job in the US in 2020. The need for product managers will continue to increase as long as products remain in the market.

If you like to analyze what makes customers tick, why they behave in a certain way, and what their needs are, then you could potentially find a successful career path in product management.

Vlad’s unique standpoint and competitive edge

Vlad Gasan is originally from Ukraine and has been transforming and disrupting the Product Management industry. He is the founder of the Product Management Mastermind Community which has more than 4000 active members globally.

He is also the Principal Product Manager at OfferUp, where he focuses on business intelligence products and experimentation. In the past he worked at eBay, specializing in marketplaces, e-commerce, and online communities. For Vlad, helping people, doing fulfilling work and feeling happy is what matters most to him.

For almost a decade, Vlad worked as a software product manager. He uses his experience to solve customers’ problems, build products and features to achieve specific business KPIs and make sure the clients receive the correct shipped products.

Vlad’s focus is on e-commerce and marketplaces. His blend of product management and software engineering gives him a competitive edge as he understands how products are built – from a technical standpoint.

Landing 6-figure job offers

Vlad offers a coaching program to help people land their first product manager job earning 6 figures.

When Erin, one of Vlad’s clients first stepped out of college she sought the help of Vlad and he helped her secure a product manager job. She did not hesitate to secure the role at a Series D startup (known as SOCI) and she worked as an Associate Product Manager. Other clients of Vlad’s have accepted positions at Microsoft, Amazon, and other big companies.

Shaping the future of product management

The future of product management will require a mix of many skills. Vlad’s skills elevate him as a coveted iconic solution for the future. He has communication, leadership, and complex skills such as product development software.

The obstacles he has persisted through in the past have taught him to be patient, persistent, hardworking, and he is someone who uses failure as a stepping stone for success. These character traits are essential in entrepreneurship and for long lasting success.
