If you cannot innovate, you better don’t step into the world of entrepreneurship. That is the belief that guided self-taught marketing genius and entrepreneur Syed Ali Naqvi throughout his life so far. And at just 31 years of age, he has created for himself a legacy that shines across diverse industries like real estate, gaming apps, and Forex. He is also a proponent for cryptocurrency, which, he believes is going to change the world of financial transactions in the future.

This Pakistani-born young man, who has been educated in the UK, is a millionaire already, all thanks to his spirit of innovation and constant experimenting. His motivation serves as an inspiration for others too. If you want to go down the start-up way, you better keep a tab on what Syed says –

Are you afraid of failure?

I would be lying if I say I like failures in life. Nobody likes to fail at something or other in his life. But it is our choice to either make those failure the stumbling blocks on our path to success or stepping stones! I chose the latter and recognized failure as an important part of my growth as an entrepreneur. However, I like to be prepared for it by doing my home work daily, even as a boss. My team and I stay in touch regularly throughout our working hours and we also conduct monthly review meetings, which allow us to have a clear understanding of where our company stands, in terms of goals. My advice would be to not be afraid of failures but be prepared for these instead.

What does wealth mean to you?

Wealth, for me, is a means to achieve the greater good, for ourselves as well as for those around us who don’t have this facility. Having said that, I don’t take my wealth for granted because I believe in raising my standard of giving whenever God has given me more than I deserve or desire. I am associated with charitable causes, where I can donate a sizeable income to improve lives of those who don’t have everything. This gives me not only the satisfaction of being of use to someone else but also the motivation to keep doing better so that I can continue to follow the path of social development.

How do you overcome stress in daily work life?

I ignore stress simply because I love what I am doing as an entrepreneur and a professional. I have inculcated certain habits in my daily life, which help me to keep the stress at bay despite my hectic work schedule. I work out regularly at the gym, run 5km daily, eat healthy and read motivational books to keep myself in a positive frame of mind.

This passionate young man is full of life and brimming with ideas. He advises youngsters to focus on their education and create a long-term plan in life. His mantra of success includes hard work, discipline and focus along with good work ethics. And if you follow his advice, chances are you might be able to emulate his level of success to as an entrepreneur.
