  • Traumatic incidents:

People who face any trauma like an accident, loss of a loved one, disability or any other cause  may develop anxiety at times. This feeling of detachment from the outside world comes under the category of anxiety.

  • Disturbed childhood:

Some people who go through a rough and disturbed childhood grow out to develop anxiety with the passage of time. The relapses of worst childhood memories may have adverse effects on a person’s mental health.

  • Bullying:

Studies show that in most cases, bullying has been found to be the origin of anxiety, especially in teenage years. People with sensitive emotional mindset who face bullying in high school or college tend to lead a life of anxiety and stress to such an extent that they slowly detach themselves from their social circles.

Experts have come up with some techniques and coping mechanisms to reduce the levels of anxiety.

  • Exercise

Whether it’s your physical health or mental well-being, exercise is the most effective way to cope with your anxiety thoughts. Some breathing exercises may have a huge impact on your mental health. You will feel relieved once you adopt this habit of exercising daily for a fixed time period.

  • Change your thought process

Once you identify what triggers your anxiety then it will become easy for you to condition your thoughts according to your stress level. Be aware of your thoughts which cause stress. If the thoughts are repetitive then you don’t have to dwell on those thoughts for a long time. Just shrug them off! Set goals in your life because the purpose of life will engage you in achieving your goals.

  • Medications

If you have been in a state of anxiety for many years then it means that some stress relieving medications can help you. After consulting with your psychiatrist, you can easily order them at home from any online Canadian pharmacy.Given the situation of pandemic, pharmacies around the globe have made it easier for people to deliver the medicines at their doorsteps.

  • Talk to a therapist

Advocates of mental health well-being have made it easier for people to consult a therapist in worse situations. Consulting a therapist used to be a taboo some years ago but now people do not shy away from reaching a therapist for the treatment of their mental illnesses.
