Interior designing has become an important subject among people during the global pandemic period. Ikuhiro Yamagata, a master interior designer, utilizes the Japandi design style to decorate the interior space. As people are staying inside their homes, they’re redesigning their interiors to live their desired lifestyle.

The Japanese interior designer, Ikuhiro Yamagata, is helping people design their homes by using the Japandi design style. Japandi takes influence from the Japanese and Scandinavian styles to create a minimalistic interior style.

Ikuhiro Yamagata doesn’t just possess the knowledge to design a house but he also considers his clients’ lifestyle to give them the desired results. According to him, it is necessary to consider what exactly a client wants before starting the designing process.

Yamagata incorporates the Japandi design style using the fundamentals of his own style to decorate any space as per the client’s lifestyle. What makes Japandi so popular among people is the inclusion of natural elements in its design.

For the first time, Yamagata used Japandi in his own home and he is doing well to spread it across the globe. The Japanese interior designer focuses on functional aspects over aesthetics to decorate a room.

Japandi involves the use of the natural space and light of the room in the designing process. Natural elements such as wood, stone, bamboo, etc, and the primary color palette involving nature are used to allow the spread of natural light into a room.

Yamagata also uses plants and water within a home space to stress the elements of love and respect for the Japanese. He never compromises with the quality of pieces used in his designs. Thus, the Japanese designer always ensures the designed space stands the test of time.
