Highlighting Weku Did That, The Music Industries Masked Record Producer

Born Victor Onyenweaku, the Nigerian-American record producer, famously known as Weku Did That, has succeeded in drawing the attention of many in and out of the music industry. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Weku Did That, has been producing music for over 10 years. He has devoted more than the acclaimed 10,000 hours needed to be considered a master in the art of musical production, however he states, “Being a music producer is a constant learning process, to be a master in this you must recognize you can never become unteachable”.

He attended one of the nations Top 10 Universities, where they are famously known for the chant “Go Gators”, The University of Florida, where he graduated with honors. The masked producer has recently been placed in one of Hip-Hops most trusted publications, “The Source” where is he is being credited for shedding light onto a new genre of music “Trap Rock”.

His other works have also been featured on Revolt TV, where he produced and directed videos for rising Atlanta artist and close collaborator Rene Bonét. He also scored credits with multi-platinum selling artist/ songwriter, Mickey Shiloh, producing the eclectically eccentric record “Hit Send” on her most recent album “SIMP”.

Getting to know more about the masked producer, we find out that he put on the mask as a uniform. He states “Before a doctor goes into surgery he puts on gloves, well before I get into the studio, I put on my mask, because I feel like a superhero with it on, but then it turned into and every day thing, I wear it everywhere”.

His signature full faced masked makes a bold statement when you initially see him, some maybe scared, some may think it’s cool, others just might not get it, but there is one sure thing and that is it makes him standout in this industry because now a days you need more than talent.

In his new success few have seen his face and some family and friends don’t know it’s him, but his mask is him in full authenticity.
