Celestine Chibu Amajoyi, an artist’s best friend and talent connoisseur in the music industry!
Along with management of ‘talent’, that is performers including actors, models, singers, dancers and comedians, becoming more organised and corporatised, talent manager is more than just providing a plethora of services. The scope of work varies vastly and is often at the discretion of the celebrity, insiders say. There used to be separate managers for different functions, for example, to handle publicity or to act as a liaison with producers. Now, much like in the trend, talent managers offer to take complete responsibility for the brand equity of the celebrity, which could even border on some aspects, services or decisions regarding their professional life.
Celestine Chibu Amajoyi – The Super Manager

Chibu has played football at all levels, and just sports in general really made me into a man he is now, early. He shares, ‘With the principle of discipline, blood, sweat, and tears before success, it really taught me to love the process because of the proven success physically. Learning all this makes it easy to grind stressless these days.’
Business During The Pandemic
All businesses surrounding entertainment have had a severe setback until recently everything went online. There were no shows or events to be broadcasted or opportunities to do so. When the world opens back, the entertainment world will open up fully too and this time it’s just better to be smart and have a strong online platform too. Chibu shares, ‘It is hard to prepare yourself in such a fickle and dynamic business that relies on being active and out there rather than being in the house. It’s different if all my clients were household names and can drop music anytime and it does well. But, this isn’t the case for every artist, there are many building their paths and we need every advantage presented, though we can’t control it.’
Chibu is an aspiring film producer in collaboration with film director & business partner James Hunter and considers it an important part of his mantra, “I want what any determined movie producer wants – To achieve box office greatness, to create theatrical titans. My partner James Hunter and I are both on the same track. With all of our experience combined, we’re destined for that.” To stay informed with his latest updates check out his Instagram.
