Not everyone could develop interest as a toddler, but that is not the case for Ronald. His perseverance paid off after many years of failure as a little boy. However, his parents are influential in his journey to become a professional tennis player. Ronald paid the price for greatness, and he is climbing the ladder gradually. Thanks to consistency with training since he was 4 years old. He shows the world that determination is the key to achieving your objectives.

Ronald found his passion very early. Becoming the number one player at Louisiana State University wasn’t a day job. For a young lad like Ronald, the beginning was really tough because he wasn’t winning despite training at a local tennis club.

A significant reason why Ronald became a professionally ranked tennis player was leaving his comfort zone to seek growth. He knew that to grow  you would need to make difficult decisions. However, Ronald showed that pursuing a career should not affect other aspects of your life. He knew what he wanted, that he committed himself to what it requires to make his dreams come true. Achievers are never relaxed, they set goals and work towards making it a reality. Ronald’s commitment paid off positively.

Although tennis is a game, Ronald learned many things during his training – discipline, commitment, and belief. Ronald’s journey pointed out why no one should take their life with levity. The most important thing is keeping your head high even when everyone doubts your ability. To Ronald, what people say is not a distraction to him; rather, it sounds like inspiration to keep him going. Being an outgoing individual was instrumental in getting him this far in his career. He believes he can achieve anything.

Ronald advises that training goes a long way in shaping your future. Don’t lose hope; keep training. Failing to win today doesn’t hinder your chances of becoming a winner tomorrow. Winning will knock on your door when your time comes. When things seem not to go your way, don’t lose focus and stay positive.
