Multi instrumentalist, first generation American AZA, is set to release his new album in the first month of 2021. His music finds its foundation in the African Diaspora and his formal studies of jazz music combined the artist is ready to lend melody to the ears.
With soon to be released ‘Go Slowly’, AZA plans to remind each of the listeners that we cannot rush progress and let it take its own path. We all are influenced by the negativity around us but we always try to see the better sides of things so while doing it we cannot lose our patience and rush into things.
Time is an important factor to consider. We have to take our own time and do things according to our own timeline. Letting life progress at its own pace with patience and faith requires efforts and that is what we need to do. It is natural to let the process unfold before our eyes.
It is not easy to see the slow progress but it is best to balance out our views and not rush into any actions. Take a good look at the world and progress organically. This will make sure we are in sync with the universe and always rooted to reality.
AZA is looking at transmitting the energy through his music where people feel peace and relaxation around them despite any storms they are facing. The artist is involved in teaching music and mindfulness as tools to enhance empathy, social justice, health equity and wellness in one. This also reflects in the music he makes.
With his company Renaissance Entertainment LLC, he with his partners try to intersect music, science, and community to build and promote a culture of wellness. The artist has attended North Carolina Central University and the Harvard/MIT MD PhD program. And is currently researching and providing clinical care as a resident in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University.
