Alexander Davis was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As a kid, he had an innate curiosity for barbershops and the work that it entailed. He wanted to pick up the art of hairstyling as well as grooming. He would often use his father’s trimmer to practice edge-up haircuts on himself. His passion was undeniable, and when he purchased his own set of clippers, his life would change forever.

How did you become a celebrity barber?
“When I moved to Houston, I wanted something greater than being just a behind the chair barber. So, I just started perfecting my craft, reaching out, and providing the best service possible. I eventually became a household name in Houston within the barbering industry, and the rest is history.”
What inspired you to pursue being a barber as a career?
“When I first got out of college looking for a career in my field, it was super hard! I wanted some with fast legal money, and a career that I could build everlasting connections and business adventures.”

“Snoop Dogg, Funny Mike, RunikTV, Da Baby, 21 Savage, Jaydayoungan, Rizzo Rizzo, Ayo Tae, FMB Longmoney, Nyyear, King Kaiser, Chris Sails, BFB Packman, Yung Ro, Blood Bath, Leonard Outz, Chris Chiozza, Peso Peso, Etc., I’ve worked with a lot of celebrities throughout my career.”
What kind of haircuts do you specialize in?
“I can do ANY haircut! But my favorite haircut to give is the DROP FADE!”
What got you into haircuts in the first place? What’s the story there?
“When I was younger, I always watched and wanted to learn when I was in the barber shop getting my haircut. Watching the amount of love and fun barbers had while they were at work! And I wanted to be a part of that. I used to go home and practice with my dad’s mustache trimmers on my edge-up every chance I got! until I was old enough to purchase my own set of clippers. I practiced and practiced until I perfected my craft!”
Who inspired you in your journey to barbering?
“My Grandmother Dorthy, My Cousin Matthew, My Sister Jennifer, and my Dad Floyd”
