HBO has reportedly released a casting call for one of the lead roles in Game of Thrones Spin-Off, House of the Dragon. Since the July month of 2020, there are rumors spreading about the starting of casting for the prequel.

Many fans are even speculating that casting for two major roles, Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower is currently going on. As per the information made available by The Illuminerdi, HBI is also planning to cast the role of Prince Daemon Targaryen, a key role in House of the Dragon.

It is also found that the role is scheduled to film during January – December 2021 period. But many fans are doubting the authenticity of this news by stating that Game of Thrones often uses pseudonyms while casting.

Last year in October 2020, HBO revealed that fans would receive House of the Dragon, a 10-episode “straight-to-series order” based on the Targaryen family. It is co-created by Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condol.

Daemon Targaryen, popular as “the Rogue Prince” has got a prominent role in the GOT’s spin-off, House of the Dragon. It had a strong reputation even before the beginning of the war. The new spin-off, House of the Dragon, is one of the four Spin-Offs of Game of Thrones.

It is going to be adapted from George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood books which are set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones. GOT fans are eagerly waiting for House of the Dragon spin-off and they are now expressing their excitement about it on their social media platforms.
