With so many women struggling with the challenges of hypothyroidism and life after thyroidectomy, Angela Longo emerges as a source of guidance and support. A Certified Holistic Health Coach, Angela integrates nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset coaching into her unique approach. Her journey from personal health struggles to becoming a sought-after wellness expert is both empowering and inspiring.

From Corporate Career to Wellness Transformation

Angela’s path to becoming a health coach was shaped by her personal health challenges. At just 23, she was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, which led to a full thyroidectomy. At the time, Angela was balancing motherhood with the pressures of a high-stress corporate job in New York City. The combination of her demanding job and health issues left her feeling overwhelmed, and she soon realized that traditional medical treatments alone weren’t enough to restore her vitality.

“I had no idea I had a thyroid problem until my diagnosis,” Angela recalls. “After surgery, everything seemed to fall apart. I felt exhausted and sick all the time. That’s when I turned to holistic health, and my journey of healing from WITHIN began.”

Angela’s determination to regain her health led her to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where she earned her certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She also embraced the power of mindset work through Bob Proctor’s Thinking Into Results program, which became a cornerstone of her coaching practice.

A Whole-Body Approach to Healing

What makes Angela’s coaching unique is her holistic approach, which takes into account the entire body rather than focusing only on symptoms. She emphasizes that thyroid health is connected to various organs and systems, such as the brain, liver, gut, and muscles.

“Holistic health means caring for every part of the body,” says Angela. “Even though I no longer have a thyroid, I still support my body as if I do. The brain plays a key role in thyroid health, and maintaining overall balance is crucial for hormone regulation.”

Angela’s wellness programs are designed not only to help women lose weight but also to restore energy, improve sleep, and reduce brain fog. Her three-month program offers personalized fitness and meal plans, complemented by an accessible online educational platform. However, what sets her apart is the mindset coaching she integrates into her services.

“Mindset is the true game-changer,” Angela says. “In my own journey, I realized that simply making the right lifestyle and nutritional changes wasn’t enough. It was shifting my mindset that truly made the difference. I teach my clients how to think their way to better health.”

Making Wellness Accessible for All

Recognizing the financial barriers that prevent some women from accessing personalized coaching, Angela is launching a new series of affordable online programs. These self-guided courses offer the same high-quality education as her one-on-one coaching but are designed to be more accessible. The first series, set to launch in early October, will provide six weeks of in-depth holistic health education, including mindset training.

“The concept for this came from my successful five-day thyroid reset program,” Angela explains. “I wanted to create something affordable for women who might not be able to afford personalized coaching. The first series is priced at just $199, with the goal of reaching and helping as many women as possible.”

Mindset and Manifestation: Angela’s Success Formula

Angela’s life is a testament to the power of mindset and manifestation. After spending years in the corporate world, Angela transitioned to full-time coaching during the COVID-19 pandemic—a leap that felt both freeing and challenging. Despite skepticism from others who claimed that health coaches were abundant, Angela remained focused on her vision.

“I visualized my clients, my business, and my future office,” Angela reflects. “Even when working long corporate hours, I never lost sight of that vision. In time, it all came together.”

Angela’s success is reflected in the achievements of her clients. One memorable story involves a young woman who, with Angela’s help, not only reached her weight-loss goal before turning 30 but also manifested her dream of buying a home, closing the deal just before her milestone birthday.

Looking Forward: Empowering Women Through Knowledge and Support

As Angela continues to grow her online presence and develop new programs, her mission remains clear: to empower women. Through her holistic approach, she helps women tackle the complexities of hypothyroidism, regain control of their health, and live fulfilling, vibrant lives.

“Whether it’s through personalized coaching, online courses, or public speaking, my aim is to reach as many women as I can,” Angela shares. “I want to help women understand how their environment, lifestyle, and mindset affect their health. With the right support, healing from WITHIN is always possible.”
