Ightkhi releases a new song and video titled “Punching Power,” which features his typical brand of witty but approachable wordplay. The burgeoning rap sensation reminds fans of how entertaining he can be while yet maintaining the little edge of danger that makes each of his tracks a wonderful example of dark humor.
The film, which was directed by Bryce Chill, begins with kinetic shots of pals racing the streets of KY while flexing massive amounts of cash at Chase and Bank of America. The camera then pulls back to see his superpowers matching the rapper’s bar-for-bar rhyme at an ATM. It’s a raucous party set to music, with clips highlighting the vivacious and grizzled personalities of Ightkhi interspersed throughout.
The music video premieres soon after the single’s tremendous success earlier this year, with the song echoing over some of the biggest platforms and social media accounts and hitting playlist rotations.
