In the current world, there are numerous things that can prevent individuals from reaching their full potential. Physical disabilities are one of those many factors that can sometimes hold a person back from living a fulfilling life. In the current world, there are many conveniences made available that can bring ease into the life of the physically disabled and help them achieve greater things. However, there are still many aspects of disabling elements that society is addressing efficiently. Mental health issues have a much greater impact on a person’s daily life than what is commonly perceived. Usually, people imagine stress-related issues and depression to be an excuse used by people not wanting to be proactive. However, the reality is much different from the perception. Such psyche-related issues can render a person feeling constantly exposed, uncomfortable and unable to function in society. But there are ways to face such disabilities and conquer them. A great example of conquering one’s fears can be seen in the British musician, songwriter, and recording producer Isabelle Tizane Sara Miller.

Mental health-related to the human psyche is often ignored and degraded when referred to by a great majority of society. This intensifies the impact of such conditions on ailing patients. Due to this widely spread denial, many people suffering from these conditions often misunderstand them, which prevents them from seeking adequate help. Conditions like anxiety and depression can become a major limiter to the abilities and activities of a person. Unable to function as well as others in society an affected person can spiral down further in their own created black hole. Usually, people affected with mental conditions tend to stew in isolation which only worsens their condition. The only way to overcome such psychological conditions is for a person to stand up to them and face their fears. Such is the story of the rising star in the music industry Isabelle Tizane Sara Miller.

Isabelle Tizane Sara Miller, professionally known by ‘Tizane,’ was born on the 3rd of July 2001 in London, England. Growing up, Tizane suffered from acute anxiety syndrome that limited her interactions with society greatly. She was unable to adequately perform in school, and neither could interact with her peers normally. This condition influenced her so much that she was not able to leave her home many of the times. Her limitations caused her much agony and were driving her to gradual depression. However, this was the time when she found her salvation in musical arts. She grew an interest in music and discovered that it helped her greatly in coping with her anxiety and provided her with inner peace. By the age of 15, Tizane was completely engrossed in music and started composing her own songs in which she portrayed her deepest feelings and thoughts. She used music as an outlet to vent her frustrations and become more stress-free. However, she never imagined how her songs would become a medium of helping and inspiring people similar to her.

As her love for music grew, she grew stronger and more socially active. She wanted to pursue music to greater heights and therefore enrolled in a music performance course offered by the North Kent College, where she studied for one year. Her professional career started in 2019 when she was signed on by the former boss of Rough Trade, George Kimpton. Her songs have to include an attribute of Rap, Indie, and Alt-Pop, all of which are music genres she closely resonates with.

Tizane released her first album named ‘Cherry’ through her private label, Jiggery Pokery Records, in January 2021. The songs in her album portray the human emotions that are felt by a person when they are experiencing a dark phase in their life. Tizane’s songs speak about the vulnerabilities that a person has and how they make them feel utterly helpless. She wants to encourage her listeners through her songs and tell them that no matter how dark a night is, sunrise always follows. A person goes through many experiences of loss and grief in their life, but it is important to not let those experiences define who the person is. While composing her album, Tizane came across many challenges and hurdles, both personal and professional, that would have stopped the album from ever being completed if she had continued down a negative path. She shut out all negativity and stayed focused on completing her goals to end. After the release, her album enjoyed widespread appreciation that contributed greatly to her current status. Her songs resonate with her audience and push them to face their fears and get out of their comfort zones. Because only by exposing oneself to new experiences can a person truly live life to its fullest.
