Be kind to yourself when you look in the mirror and understand that your looks do not define you, you are beautiful just as you are. Stop comparing yourself to others. Allow yourself to feel pain and joy as often as you can without being afraid to. To me, feeling beautiful is to be myself! I have learned to accept myself a long time ago and it feels amazing. I love myself. I never care what people think of me. Just the idea that NO ONE is like me makes me so happy. When I have that mindset, it makes me feel extraordinary… and sexy too. I embrace that. Another one: live your life how you want, because at the end of the day you will be your best self. I think that’s what makes one feel beautiful. Third, self-care. Treating myself to ‘me time’ as a massage, facial, or body treatment is important for a new glow.

Hi Yulia, please tell us a little about you?

Yulia Foxx, born in Los Angeles and raised in Massachusetts. Currently living in Connecticut. Both my parents are Russian. I am bilingual, I speak Russian and English. I love cooking, wine tasting, working out, shooting guns, and doing puzzles.

Describe yourself in three words?

Passionate, positive, ambitious

Name one of your strengths?

Always look forward no matter what obstacles are thrown at me.

Best advice ever given?

Work hard to do more of what you love and less of the things that don’t fulfill you.

How and when did you start modeling?

I officially started modeling in 2016 when I moved to Miami for better opportunities.

What did you learn from your biggest failure?

My biggest failure made me stronger and forced me to learn that failures are a part of the journey.

What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?

Being able to make and manage my own work schedule, being able to work anywhere in the world, traveling with companies and other models, making new connections while working.

What’s your best advice for an aspiring model?

Don’t ever give up on your dreams and never take no for an answer.

What’s next for you in 2022?

I have so many goals for 2022, I want to travel and work with more global brands. I will focus this year to save and hopefully purchasing an investment property.

Which magazine or project is still on your bucket list?

Sports illustrated for sure! Such a dream of mine.

 What’s next for you?

I want to continue to grow in all aspects of my life and remain focused.

Now talking about Instagram, can you share some tips for keeping your account interesting?

Being open and truthful about my work and personal life I feel has definitely gotten me where I am, and keeping your content consistent yet not repetitive.

I bet you get millions of it, but what are the best and worst Instagram DM pickup lines you received so far?

The best DMs are definitely the ones who can actually hold a conversation and aren’t corny or rude. The worst is so silly and not persuading at all.

What is your favorite healthy food?

Grilled chicken caesar salad

 And your favorite cheat food?

Thai food for sure

What is your own definition of happiness?

Achieving all my goals, living a healthy lifestyle, and exploring the world with my loved ones.

What is your workout routine these days?

I usually hit my lower body three times a week followed by 20 minutes of cardio.

What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion to me is being able to express yourself and being comfortable in your own skin with what you’re wearing.

Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?

Candice Swanepoel, I love her confidence.

How would you explain your fashion style and what items in your closet can you not be without?

My fashion style is focused on what I feel comfortable with and what fits best on me. I can not be without a nice pair of shades and a cute purse to match my fit.

Holiday destination?

Bora Bora or Santorini, Greece

What do you like to watch on Tv?

I like to watch chick flicks, funny shows/movies and definitely can’t live without a thriller!

Three things you can’t live without?

The gym, my warm comfy robe, and the sun!

Favorite Drink?

Espresso Martini

 Favorite season and why?

Summer is my favorite season because warm sunny days make me happy. I can’t stand the winner especially the cold weather, it’s so depressing.

 Where can we follow you?

Instagram main account @foxx_yulia and my second account @playmateyulia
