They say artists are known by their work and their influences. For singer Brandon Riley, influences have been strong. Riley’s influences have been from classics like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Brandon Riley, in his early days started playing guitar because he wanted to be like The Rolling Stones. These popular influences are not uncommon but what is unique is the hard work. Learning any instrument requires a certain focus and dedication. Brandon kept at it and explored various areas of a song.

In his process of exploration, Brandon Riley learnt to play a guitar. But guitar wasn’t the only instrument that he learnt. He also learnt to play the piano. Brandon Riley even practiced his writing skills and became a songwriter. This exploration process also meant working with like minded people. In this approach, Brandon Riley started playing with different bands at college. They went on to record several songs together. This helped him observe the commercial aspect of music.

After gaining experience from several bands, Brandon Riley decided to go solo. He started working on his solo singles. The latest Indie pop single, Scar Tattoo is his second solo song, which was released just recently, on September 17, 2021. The one thing that Brandon Riley has stuck to is the original theme in his songs.

The essence of Scar tattoo is the fact that we can convert our pain into something beautiful. Hooking on to this thought, the single was released this month. This brings Brandon Riley’s singles tally to two. The song is available on all major music platforms.
