Being a 9th-grade dropout and plagued with various challenges growing up, life never went easy on Ryan McNutt. But one good thing about life is that it gives people chances to start things over and transform their challenges into narratives. Over the past two decades, Ryan strived to maximize the potential he knew he had. Today, he manages nine companies, all excelling in their respective industries.

Ryan McNutt is a serial entrepreneur from Sanford, Florida. Among the nine companies in his portfolio are One Source Branding & Media and Kono Naturals. Ryan is tirelessly building a business empire, along with his life and business partner, Jenna. Dubbed as a power couple, Ryan and Jenna have provided countless opportunities to individuals through their companies and aim to continually build a lasting legacy.

One Source Branding & Media is a seven-figure brand development and online marketing company focused on helping startups and existing companies find their niche through creative marketing. The company has proved to play a crucial role in the success of its clients by implementing intelligent, efficient, and cost-effective strategies, allowing them to tap into their target markets.

On the other hand, Kono Naturals is a CBD company. The brand offers a collection of organic, sustainable Cannabidiol (CBD) products designed to provide a safe and natural alternative to managing pain and mental health and promote general wellness. Cannabis-based health products are continually facing a growth in demand, and Ryan McNutt and his team are at the forefront. “Our products, extracted from 100% hemp plants and are 3rd party tested to ensure the integrity of the oil, potency, and confirm the absence of chemicals and solvents,” shared the CEO.

Asked what motivated him to pursue the path of a serial entrepreneur, Ryan McNutt shared that he built his own brands to gain what he wasn’t able to as a regular employee–freedom. Ryan worked hard to abolish the cards stacked against him growing up, including gang association, drug and alcohol abuse, and a lot of family deaths. Amid all the challenges in his environment, Ryan was also the father of two kids, having his first child at 20. He juggled all these circumstances alongside having a 20-year career in marketing and sales. Ryan worked with prominent companies such as Coca-Cola and spent over 12 years of his life in the healthcare industry.

“My life has been full of ups and downs,” as Ryan McNutt said. But he believes that all the challenges he had to face in his past led him to become a stronger person, equipped to start his own companies from the ground up. “My first company was a clothing brand that was successful; then I lost it all overnight, as well as everything else. After losing everything and going through a divorce, I was at the bottom fighting major depression,” recalled the serial entrepreneur.

Like a beacon of hope, Ryan McNutt met his now life partner, Jenna. Ryan and Jenna never spent a day apart from each other, and together they built a vast portfolio of successful business ventures. The power couple now serves over 40 small business owners through their branding and marketing firm. Even amid the pandemic, they managed to open a new investment division and have ownership of a variety of companies in multiple industries.

“It doesn’t matter how many times you get pushed down,” said Ryan McNutt. “As long as you work hard, push through the negative, you can achieve anything you want to.”
