Biography of Egyptian actor Alaa Shoier

In the past few decades, the Egyptian film industry has flourished to become one of the most prominent film industries in the world. From their heart-wrenching dramas, love stories and epic political panoramas, it has become a competitive industry for film
makers and actors as well. Alaa Shoier, the 28-year-old actor with unique looks and physic, has been making waves recently. Due to his Greek god looks and terrific acting, he is often referred to as the Brad Pitt of the Egyptian film industry. Soaring to the heights in a short period, he has gathered a massive following from all over the world.

Alaa Shoier’s family

Alaa Shoier belongs to a family who had their roots in Egypt. He was born on October 15th, 1992, in a Muslim family. His parents had made a name for themselves by working hard in their respective professions. His father was a policeman and his mother was the founder of her own private company that deals with Egypt’s hospitality and lifestyle domain. Alaa’s brother Amr has been an enormous impact on Alaa’s acting journey. He was inspired by his brother to focus on his fitness and body transformation, which benefited Alaa in the long term.

Alaa’s educational background

Alaa Shoier was highly active in cultural and theatre-based activities during his school life and mastered a skill to captivate the audience’s attention. Alaa Shoier graduated from American College in Greece with Bachelor’s degree in Media. He was passionate about facing the camera and performing like a professional actor. Alaa was aware of the importance of connections in the acting field, so he started networking in the film industry from his college days. Alaa has also completed his Master’s degree in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media from American University in Dubai.

Alaa Shoier’s Career timeline

Alaa took more than seven acting workshops internationally to take his acting game on another level. Alaa was part of an international workshop conducted in the UK, UAE, US, Greece, and Egypt. Travelling to this country, he gave many auditions and met with people with expertise in the film industry. His sharp vision is responsible for the roles he chose.

He has been a part of the super hit series “Nesr El Sa3eed”, which also featured the legendary actor Mohammed Ramadan. The TV series became a milestone for Alaa Shoier and opened many gates for him. Alaa Shoier is also widely known for his roles in TV and web series. The audience and the critics cherished his character in Khat Sakhen (2018). He had an opportunity to work with Syrian Superstar Sulaf Fawakherjit, and this experience gave him a message boost in his career.

In 2020, along with his acting career, Alaa has featured in the many Ad commercials for prestigious brands like Egypt Air. He also featured in a famous Greek Magazine for Project by SB. Currently, he is working on an Egyptian TV series named 9th Street.
