Kick off your shoes and walk through the grass or a body of water.  Wiggles your toes around and you will feel that you connected to the earth.  It will make you happier right away.

2.  Take A Walk

A great way to release some stress is to take a walk around the block.  Breathing in the fresh air will allow you to feel relaxed.  When the sun is shining on your face, you will really enjoy the way it makes you feel.  Look at nature and the wildlife while you are out there and it will surely make you smile.

3.  Texting Or Emailing

When you text or email a friend, you can share a memory with them that will surely make you happier right away.  Make sure that you use a memory that you can get very descriptive about.  With this type of fun, you will get to laugh with each other.  Laughing will make you feel better fast.

4.  Go Through Your Closet

When you are looking at your things, pick 5 that you don’t like and donate them or recycle them.  You will feel better knowing that you have done something like this.  It will allow you to get more organized too and that always makes you feel better.

5.  Dance Party

Have your own dance party.  Put on some music and dance your heart off.  If you want to cry, go ahead.  Sometimes a good cry is all you need to make you feel better about all kinds of things.  Be sure to try it and see just how good it will make you feel.

6.  Stretching

You might want to try your hand at Yoga.  This is a great way to release stress.  Meditation is good for the soul so be sure to find some great ways to do this also.

Doing any of these simple 6 things above will be sure to make you happier in 10 minutes.  That’s all the time that you’ll need to make sure that your spirits are better and you can handle anything that comes your way.  Keep in mind what works the best for you so that you can really make yourself happier anytime that you might be feeling down.
