Streaming has become a massively popular form of entertainment in this day and age. Video game streamers have been cropping up from everywhere, each with their own style and personality. Mohamad “Smush” Masri is one such individual who has taken up the mantle of video game streaming, entertaining his massive audience through his platform and content.
Originally born in Syria, Smush moved to the United States when he was young, along with his family. They moved to the land of opportunity for the betterment of their future. Growing up playing video games every day with his friends, he gained an immense passion for the activity throughout his formative years.
Smush worked 9-to-5 jobs for almost all four years of his entire high school life. He worked very hard to create an income and be able to pay his bills. He tried to go to college, but the whole experience just didn’t work for him because it was expensive, and he couldn’t afford it. He ended up dropping out and began streaming on Facebook Gaming.
About a year into streaming, Smush officially became partnered with the platform. Nowadays, he has a community with about 114,000 followers, and it allowed him to do streaming as a full-time job. He has also recently learned to develop for FiveM, which is a Grand Theft Auto V multiplayer modification framework. He has created a game server with over 3,000 players.
Throughout Smush’s streaming career, he managed to learn a lot about developing, and he eventually learned to do all of it by himself. As a streamer, Smush is adept at bringing his community together and entertaining them through his content. “I have pushed people through very hard times in life when they need to get their minds off things,” says the renowned video game streamer, “such as the coronavirus outbreak and being stuck at home. They watch my stream and enjoy the content while chatting with friends in the chat and forgetting about the sad things in their day/month.”
Smush engages a lot with his community, fostering a positive, friendly ecosystem where like-minded individuals get along with each other well. His community has become a family that talks in his chat with individuals coming from all over the world. “I have very enjoyable and hilarious moments in my stream, and I connect with my community in a very special way,” Smush exclaims.

Every day it is something different and always puts a smile on many people’s faces,” says Smush. “My stream never has very serious moments. It is about laughs and having a good time. Not only do I play video games and make people laugh while doing it, but I have brought people together as a family that is able to feel happy in the chat.”
It’s clear to see that Smush is extremely passionate about what he does. In the near future, he hopes to be able to grow his community every day. He also sees himself as being able to mentor streamers into becoming successful in the industry so they can also grow on their own. Smush is on his way to smashing the boundaries of video game streaming, and he is making great strides toward the top. His story is truly an inspiration to gamers out there.
