For people who are lucky enough to be on the phone with best-selling author Sarah K Ramsey after a divorce or break up, she is going to ask a very specific question, “What is your healing strategy?” No matter what college someone graduated from, how highly they ranked on their company’s sales team, or how many millions of dollars their business brought in last year, nearly every woman struggles to answer this question. Most women admit they are analyzing their past with friends and therapists, reading books and blogs and devouring YouTube tutorials about unlocking the mysteries of narcissism, codependency and wounded inner children. Sarah will then ask, “ So it sounds like the YouTube feature of “up next” is your guru. How is that working for you?”

At this point, women typically stammer and admit that it isn’t working quickly enough. These women are far from ignorant, however, they have been fed far too many lies about healing. Lies such as, “healing is a lifetime journey” and “time heals all wounds.” Sarah recognizes that there is a time for processing and a time for progressing. It doesn’t mean a person doesn’t do the hard work of healing; she believes that it just means a person strives to get to the magic of living more quickly. Sarah calls it, “designing a life you are excited about living, which is attained by building momentum through small wins.” This insight is why Sarah’s clients have deemed her the “Success Fairy.”

The strategy of taking back one’s thinking by finding better problems to solve, means women learn to heal through what is right with them, rather than rehashing what is wrong with them. This gets them back to the business of living, loving and creating much more quickly than being stuck in processing. It also means that Sarah’s clients usually start earning more money. Sarah jokes that, “no one makes their best money by obsessing over their ex.”

Getting clear about what problem anyone is trying to solve and what healing strategy is used will enable a person to move past healing and start growing. Not only does this mean happiness, but it allows for one’s children, coworkers, friends and family members to get the best version of one’s self back faster. Sarah adds, “This will also increase chances of finding a future healthy partner, because “She who needs to be healed” is not the brand you want to bring into your dates. We are going for clear, confident, and charming. This version of you is much more vibrant and much more likely to find a healthy partner.”

Sarah is on a mission to get the best women in the world back into the world. She wants to clear up the confusion surrounding toxic relationships and to stop people from having their kindness used against them. People who work with Sarah learn that they can be both sweet and savvy, as they develop healthy relationships with themselves and others. Sarah also wants to help people stop using their resources to fight the past and instead, use their time, energy and resources to build their future.
