Car accidents are common, they take many lives. But there are ways one can prevent car accidents. A study found that the number of car accidents has decreased in the last year in Rio Grande Valley. McAllen car accident lawyers at Moore Law firm did thorough research to find out about the car accidents that take place in the valley. Here are some facts that came to light.

There were a total of 24,359 car accidents in the Rio Grande Valley in 2020. That is a step down from 2019 where 30,991 car accidents happened. It is 23.39% less than the previous year, which is good news. The number of people affected by car accidents was 62,972.

According to the McAllen car accident lawyers, 179 people lost their lives because of the car accident in the valley. While several were injured in 2020. 973 are suspected to have had serious injuries whereas, 3,834 are suspected to have had minor injuries. 15,011 suspected that they had an injury.

Many cities in Rio are dangerously known for car accidents. Brownsville, Texas is on the top with 3,160 vehicles involved in car accidents. Followed by Pharr, Texas with  2,273 car accidents. Moreover, 4,437 car accidents occurred outside of the city limits in all four Rio Grande Valley counties. Car accidents are pretty common there and one needs to be careful to avoid them.

However, if one gets stuck in a car accident, then help is needed. Hospitals can help with physical injury, but any harm to the vehicle and insurance can be taken care of by lawyers. So it is wise to be in contact with a law firm or attorneys who can take care of accidents.
