Nashville is already one of the top cities people are moving to from outside. It is a music hub with an artistic and welcoming atmosphere. There are no shortage of places to go and things to see in Nashville. It also comes with a variety of neighborhoods to explore and choose from when it comes to investing in property. The Southeast Nashville/Antioch neighborhood is a part of the city that has been through its fair share of hard times. It has had crime and gang issues in the past, but the community has come together in new ways to make this neighborhood anew. It is currently rising as one of the up and coming neighborhoods in Nashville. Real estate is making a comeback.

So are businesses. They are opening for the same reason, prices are lower. It is in flux, with many opportunities to invest in property. The region of Antioch is the second largest employment epicenter. Downtown is the only part of the city that overshadows it in this area. There are rooftops and a population eager to support local businesses.

Crime is down and business is thriving, making Southeast Nashville a great place to invest in property. Odds are that it will only go up in value and in esteem. Housing is within reach for those getting a paycheck from nearby businesses and new jobs continue to pour in. Whether you are looking to live here or rent a property out, Southeast Nashville is no longer a secret and will be climbing up the ladder more quickly than you might think.

Dickerson Pike

Another area with a questionable past is Dickerson Pike. The reputation also comes from the high crime rate, but it is also in its transition phase. There are rising prices in nearby neighborhoods such as East Nashville and Inglewood, which means a lot of those residents are looking for more affordable rent. They are moving to Dickerson Pike and other reasonable areas. People are also being drawn to its proximity to Downtown and the great views of it. With restaurants, bars, entertainment, and boutique shops to offer close to Dickerson, there is no wondering why people are beginning to flock here.

Developers are building. Communities are forming. Dickerson Pike is coming up and transforming into a new neighborhood with a new vibe. That’s why it is one of the best areas of Nashville to invest in when it comes to property. It can only go up from here.

Madison

Madison is a neighborhood living up to its potential. The locals call it Madtown, which you should know if you are thinking about moving here or at least buying some property. It is another neighborhood close to the urban center of the city, which makes it no stranger to crime. But since it is so close to Downtown, law enforcement was amped up and the neighborhood is changing like the others. If you haven’t noticed, there is a theme here. It is best to invest in property where the prices will continue to go up.

Madtown has also benefited from the quickly rising housing prices in East Nashville. The people who are priced out are coming here. It provides the ability to live close to a nice area at an affordable price. Furthermore, its short commute to Downtown was optimized by the city’s first light rail. Madison is a multi-faceted neighborhood with a lot to offer.

These are just a few of the up-and-coming neighborhoods in Nashville where investing in property will be fruitful. If you are looking to move to Nashville, you will have more of an outlook based on what you want out of this amazing city. If you are investing, however, these neighborhoods will likely provide the best returns. Doing a bit of your own research will make it clear which of these neighborhoods is best for you and your dollar. Get started today to make an investment you are proud of.
