For any striving musician in the music industry, Gabe Schillinger is the man to know.

Earlier in his career, Gabe Schillinger had worked as a music producer with distinguished artists such as Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Chris Brown.

In order to find himself financially stable, Schillinger pursued another passion he later discovered, marketing.

Impressively, Gabe Schillinger, more than just a music producer – has established himself as a music engineer, digital marketer, public speaker, and entrepreneur. He is the founder, CEO, music producer and engineer of Legion Beats, an online music production company based in San Rafael, California. A company that was able to remarkably achieve six figures upon launching.

From a Marketing Gimmick to the 2 Comma Club Award

To begin with, Gabe Schillinger as a marketing genius was evident from Legion Beat’s contests and giveaways.

Schillinger is notorious in terms of providing eye-catching incentives to Legion Beats’ customers or clients.

For instance, any aspiring musician would not want to pass on an opportunity such as winning a song with Chris Brown. Since Legion Beats had access to licensed vocals from Chris Brown, contestants who participated in the contest would get the chance to win the opportunity to utilize Chris Brown’s licensed vocals – essentially “making music” with Chris Brown.

Schillinger’s main focus in terms of marketing was to provide offers that are deemed irresistible to the public, ensuring it achieves the viral aspect through numerous shares and participation of others. Similar to a referral program, but in a playful, yet competitive way.

With this in mind, Schillinger did not only stick to announcing the winners, but would also announce an attractive deal for everyone, effectively growing the excitement and eagerness rather than feeling like they’ve lost a competition if their names were not mentioned.

To exemplify, after announcing the winners for a contest in a Facebook Live event, Legion Beats announced that every single product or beats made that year would be sold at a discounted rate for the next 7 days, allowing Legion Beats to make more than $200,000 selling beats online in a single launch.

In a nutshell, Gabe Schillinger ensured his marketing campaigns contain the following attributes:

Through public speaking, Schillinger aims to guide other players in the music industry he can relate to, to grow and scale their business, particularly through strategic marketing campaigns. Effective utilization of marketing funnels is crucial to maintain an engaged audience and meet desired sales targets.

Schillinger participated at the Funnel Hacking Live event in the United States, an annual conference attended by a multitude of marketers and entrepreneurs, or people who simply want to learn from successful entrepreneurs’ marketing funnels. The Funnel Hacking Live event was also presented by recognized entrepreneurs with the likes of Tony Robbins or Russell Brunson.
