Going Beyond the Stereotype, Magician Thomas Poole is Changing the Magic Industry

Magic has always been one of the greatest mysteries and forms of entertainment. From the likes of Houdini to David Blaine, magic tricks have been a source of happiness and wonder for both children and adults. Many have been inspired to learn some tricks themselves, including Thomas Poole.

At the age of 12, Thomas Poole began to learn card magic. It started as a hobby, something he would do for fun from time to time. Even as a kid, Thomas would watch the magic tricks carefully and generally figured out how most of them were done. As he grew older, he never stopped practicing his tricks. By the time he reached adulthood, he had decided to take his hobby more seriously, and for years he would practice a minimum of six hours a day every day.

It wasn’t just the mechanics of the cards that he studied. He extended his studies to the psychology people. Thomas would analyze how people think, how they act, how they respond, and how to influence them in a way that would make them feel as if they were making their own choices.

When he has free time, Thomas visits restaurants and bars and occasionally performs his magic tricks in bars he visits. Knowing that other people are there to have a good time, Thomas resorts to making his performances amazing and leaves them thinking for days. Because of the small space that bars have, Thomas entertains his audience by using card tricks. Although he is a magician, Thomas enjoys entertaining adults more than children.

Thomas’s approach to magic is different from conventional ways. He would take his time to learn the mechanics of a trick or illusion and diligently study it until he can execute the trick blindfolded. Once he has a complete understanding of the trick, he goes out to practice the illusion with random people. As he performs, his concentration is on the presentation and psychology, and the method makes him stand out among other magicians in the industry. He can use a simple trick to fool them by focusing on the psychology that lies behind the trick, and it works every time.

He takes pride in being a corporate magician, and so he specializes in magic for adults. Thomas understands that they don’t want a stereotypical magician coming to make balls disappear or sawing a woman in half. What adults want is to witness something that they’ve never seen before; they want their minds spinning, trying to figure out how he does the tricks he performs.

Every year, Thomas travels the country to perform for tens of thousands of people. When he performs for events, Thomas is sure to make himself unforgettable. He performs tricks that will leave his audience thinking about him for a very time. In every event where he has performed, Thomas always receives a five-star review.
