Starting out as a background dancer, Detroit Zeus found his way into the music industry at the age of 15. His father was a talented singer and often did what he could to foster his son’s growth. Many years later, Detroit Zeus is a household name in the city of Detroit.
Inspired by the likes of Tupac, Detroit Zeus has been able to craft his own sound and make waves across his city. Being a hub for hip hop, it can be difficult to break out in Detroit, but Detroit Zeus has done just that.
The main reason Detroit Zeus has been able to make such a great impression on listeners is because of his ability to be authentic in his music. He said, “I want people to know I’m just like them”. His emotions and experiences from being on the streets of the inner city have had a huge inspiration on his lyrics.
With his current momentum, Detroit Zeus plans to release new music soon including a project called “Ghetto Soul”.
