Up and Coming Music Talent: Maxx Paradox

Jennifer Ross by Jennifer Ross

Reading Time: 3 mins read

Although he’s had a love for music for most of his life, New York artist Maxx Paradox is fairly new to the music scene. Coming out with his first project in 2018, and pushing more serious projects out in recent months, Maxx is starting to build an impressive audience despite having a small discography.

Inspired by artists like the late Juice WRLD and Lil Peep, and even artists such as Billy Joel, Maxx Paradox creates a unique sound that feels right at home in the current rap scene. His melodic and emotional vocals mixed with catchy hooks and lyrical content creates a perfect mix to make it big in 2020. Being new to the game doesn’t feel like an obstacle for Maxx, as he’s already begun to grow an impressive audience and perform at major New York venues.

His recently amassed following of over 45,000 people will be excited to know that Maxx Paradox is putting the final touches on a brand-new project: an EP called “Lost”. Hoping to have a positive impact on his fans and new listeners, Maxx said he has opened up emotionally on his new project, offering a side of him that is never-before seen. Maxx tells us that the songs will cover struggles with mental health and past relationships: something he hopes will provide an outlet for people to escape from their own struggles, and have new music to get lost in.
